Restylane®, offered at our Utah practice, is a popular new dermal filler used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, as well as to add volume to targeted areas of the face and the lips. Composed mainly of hylauronic acid, a volume-maintaining substance found naturally in the skin, Restylane® bonds with water molecules beneath the skin to smooth wrinkles and keep lips looking full for up to six months. Our surgeon will inject Restylane® into the appropriate area using a micro needle; there may be some initial discomfort during treatment, and any residual swelling should subside shortly after your appointment. Because Restylane® is made of an innate compound in the skin, results are extremely natural looking, and allergic reactions are not a concern.

We offer a broad range of both chemical and natural fruit acid peels to rejuvenate the skin. A facial peel is delivered through the application of a specially formulated solution to the face that exfoliates wrinkled, blemished, unevenly pigmented, or sun damaged facial skin. After the solution is applied, a chemical reaction within the skin causes dull, damaged layers to peel away, exposing the more youthful looking skin underneath. After a facial peel, pores are clear and appear more refined, fine lines are reduced, skin tone is brighter and more even, and skin feels softer and smoother. Depending on the depth of the peel desired, we have a number of options to help achieve differing degrees of skin renewal. The strength of the peel will determine the amount healing time required; weak peels may leave no signs of flaking or discoloration, whereas deeper peels may cause redness and shedding for a short period of time after treatment.
